    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: if an app causes problems or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing the issues by clearing the app’s cache or data. WARNING! When clearing an app’s data, all of your data stored within the app will be deleted, including user profiles, login information, custom settings etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app cache.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Go to “Apps & Notification”
    4. Switch to “See all apps” if necessary
    5. Select the desired app then tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”
    6. If clearing the app cache didn’t fix the issues, tap “Clear data” (Check the WARNING above)

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Phone:

NOTE: Before factory resetting the phone, make sure you’ve backed up all of your data.

    1. Open “Settings” and go to “System”
    2. Tap “Reset options”
    3. To reset network settings, tap “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth”
    4. Tap “Reset” two times to confirm
    5. To reset app settings, go to “Reset app preferences” and tap “Reset apps”
    6. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone”
    7. Tap “Erase everything” to confirm

    Uninstall Apps in Safe Mode:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes problems and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. On the home screen, press and hold “Power”
    2. From the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    3. Wait for the phone to reboot and once done, you should see a “Safe Mode” watermark in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings”
    5. Access “Apps & Notifications”
    6. Switch to “All apps’ if necessary
    7. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    8. To exit Safe Mode, reboot the device normally
