    5. For timeout options, tap “Sleep” and select a lower timeout value for the screen

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features OFF when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Bluetooth” and “Location” quick toggles to disable the features

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life. Thus by removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps” and switch to “All apps” if necessary
    3. Select the desired app

    5. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You might be able to improve battery life by changing the sync settings to reduce the amount of data synced by your apps and accounts.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Select an account and make the desired changes to reduce sync

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates” and check if new updates are available
    4. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and install the updates
