    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an application doesn’t work as intended or takes up too much storage, you might be able to fix it by clearing the app’s cache or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, including custom settings, login details, user profiles etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app’s cache.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “All apps” and select the desired application
    4. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”
    5. If clearing the cache didn’t solve the issues, tap “Clear data” (check the WARNING above)

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset:

NOTE: Make sure all of your personal data is backed up before factory resetting the phone, or you will lose it.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “System” > “Reset options”
    3. To reset network settings, go to “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth” and tap “Reset” two times
    4. To reset app settings, go to “Reset app preferences” and tap “Reset apps”
    5. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone” > “Erase Everything”

    Remove Apps in Safe Mode:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes issues and prevents you from uninstalling it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power”
    2. In the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    3. Wait for the phone to finish rebooting. A “safe Mode” watermark should be shown in the lower area of the home screen
    4. To remove an app, first open “Settings”
    5. Then go to “Apps & Notifications” and switch to “All apps”
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    7. To exit Safe Mode, reboot the phone normally
