    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Battery”
    3. Tap “Battery optimization” and select an app to optimize
    4. Optionally, tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the Notification area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings” and access “Display”
    4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep” and select a lower timeout value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: By disabling the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use, you can avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down from the home screen
    2. Tap the “GPS (Location)” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to turn the features OFF
    3. Tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggle and disable the feature
    4. Launch “Settings” and access “Network & Internet” > “Hotspot & Tethering”
    5. Tap and disable “Wi-Fi Hotspot”

    Uninstall Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform background processes regularly and this can potentially affect the device’s battery life. You can remove unused third-party apps from the device to try and improve battery life.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “See all apps” and select the desired app
    4. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Update the OS:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve the battery life and as such it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times. To check if new updates are available:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “System” > “System updates”
    3. Tap “Check for updates”
    4. If new updates are available, follow the prompts to download and install them
