    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an app causes problems or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing it by clearing its cache or data. WARNING! By clearing an app’s data, you will delete all of your personal data stored within the app, including user profiles, custom settings, login data etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear the app cache only.

    1. Open “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications”
    2. Switch to “See all apps”
    3. Select the desired app and tap “Storage”
    4. Tap “Clear cache”
    5. If this didn’t help, tap “Clear data” instead (check the WARNING above to avoid losing data)

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset:

NOTE: Back up all of your data before factory resetting the phone in order to avoid losing it.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “System”
    3. Tap “Reset options”
    4. To reset network settings, access “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth”
    5. Tap “Reset” two times to confirm
    6. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences” > “Reset apps
    7. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone”
    8. Tap “Erase everything” to confirm

Reboot to Safe Mode and Uninstall Apps:

NOTE: If you’re having issues uninstalling third-party apps, you can try removing them while in Safe Mode. In this mode, third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power” on the home screen
    2. From the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    3. After the phone finishes rebooting, a “Safe Mode” watermark should be shown in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications”
    5. Switch to “See all apps” if necessary
    6. Select the desired app
    7. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    8. To Exit Safe Mode, reboot the phone as you would do normally
