    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. From the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” and access “Display” for additional options
    4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep” and select a lower timeout value for the screen

    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Battery” and tap “Battery optimization”
    3. Select an app to optimize
    4. Optionally, you can tap “Menu” and turn On “Advanced optimization”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the device’s connectivity features when not in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” and “GPS (Location)” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggle and set the feature Off
    4. Open “Settings”
    5. Access “Network & Internet” > “Hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and disable the feature

    Uninstall Third-Party Applications:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can affect the device’s battery life. You can attempt to improve battery life by removing unused third-party apps form the phone.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “See all apps” and select the desired app
    4. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life. Thus it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “System”
    3. Tap “System updates” > “Check for updates”
    4. Assuming new updates are available, follow the prompts to download and install them
