    Clear App Data/Cache:

NOTE: If an app causes issues, you can try fixing the problems by clearing its cache or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, such as custom settings, user profiles, login data etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear only the app cache.

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access ‘Apps & Notifications
    3. Switch to “See all apps” and select the desired app
    4. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache
    5. If clearing the cache didn’t help, tap “Clear data” instead (check the Warning above)

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset:

NOTE: Ensure you’ve backed up all of your data before factory resetting the device.

    1. Open “Settings” and access “System
    2. Tap “Reset options
    3. To reset network settings, go to “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth
    4. Tap “Reset” twice
    5. To reset app settings, go to “Reset app preferences” and tap “Reset apps
    6. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (factory reset)” > “Reset phone” > “Erase Everything

Reboot to Safe Mode and Remove an App:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app while in Safe Mode, where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power” on the home screen
    2. In the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off
    3. Wait for the device to finish rebooting and once done, a “Safe Mode” watermark should be visible in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings
    5. Access “Apps & Notifications” and switch to “See all apps
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK
    7. To exit Safe Mode, reboot the phone normally
