    Adjust Screen Brightness and Timeout:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left to decrease brightness
    3. Next open “Settings” and go to “Display” for more options
    4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep” and select a lower timeout setting

    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Open “Settings” and go to “Battery”
    2. Tap “Battery optimization”
    3. Select an app to optimize
    4. Optionally, tap “Menu” and turn “Advanced optimization” ON

    Remove Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform background processes regularly and this can potentially affect battery life. As such you can remove unused third-party apps and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “See all apps”
    4. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall”
    5. Tap “OK”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” and “GPS (Location)” quick toggles to disable the feature
    3. Tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggle and turn the feature OFF
    4. Open “Settings”
    5. Access “Network & Internet” > “Hotspot & Tethering”
    6. Disable “Wi-Fi Hotspot”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and you should keep the OS updated at all times. To check if new updates are available:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “System” > “System updates”
    3. Tap “Check for updates”
    4. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply updates
