If you want to transfer contacts from iphone to HTC via iTunes/iCloud to computer and then transfer it to HTC,the process is a bit troublesome.

With 3rd party tool, you can transfer contacts from iphone to HTC directly. Not only contacts, other important also can be transfered.I think this way is more convenient.

    Transferring Contacts Using iTunes:

iTunes allows you to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Synced contacts include phone numbers, addresses, emails, contact notes and any other details that are stored. For this method you are required to have access to a computer with iTunes installed and Internet access.

    1. Launch iTunes on your PC
    2. Establish a connection between your iPhone and computer via USB
    3. Once successfully connected, your smartphone will be shown in iTunes. Click it to open the summary page
    4. Click the "Info" tab and mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
    5. From the drop-down list, select "Google Contacts"
    6. If you haven't added a Google account in iTunes before, enter your account's log in details. Otherwise, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
    7. To begin the syncing process, click "Apply"
    8. On the Desire 601, register the same Google account as the one used in iTunes. To add it, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
    9. Lastly, allow the account to sync contacts with your HTC smartphone

    Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

Assuming that you have enabled iCloud on your iPhone, then you can find your backed up contacts on your iCloud account. Using a computer with Internet access, you can sign in with your account and export the contacts as a vCard file

    1. Use your computer to visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Click "Contacts" and from the list, select the contacts that you want to share
    3. From the lower-left area of the screen, click the cog wheel icon and select "Export vCard"
    4. A VCF file will now be downloaded on your computer
    5. Once you have the file, you can import it to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, you can connect the Desire 601 to your computer via USB and copy the vCard file to the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the "People" app, tap "Menu" > "Manage contacts" > "Import / Export" and choose to import the vCard file

Using "My Contacts Backup" to Transfer Contacts:

If you don't want to transfer your contacts through a computer, you can use applications such as "My Contacts Backup". This app allows you to share your iPhone contacts with your Android phone via email.

    1. Install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone, from the App Store
    2. Once installed, open the app
    3. Tap "Backup" in order to create a VCF file
    4. Once completed, tap "Email" to attach the file to a new email
    5. In the recipient field, enter your own Gmail address and send the email
    6. Switch over to the Desire 601 and open the email
    7. Download the attached file and import the contacts using the "People" app and "Import / Export"

    Transferring Contacts Using "Send Anywhere":

Last but not least, there's "Send Anywhere", a P2P transfer app that gives you the possibility to easily share your contacts, among other types of files.

    1. Visit the Play Store and install the app on the Desire 601
    2. From the App Store, install "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
    3. Launch the application on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
    5. Choose the contacts that you want to transfer and tap "Send"
    6. Select a transfer method, like "Generate QR Code" in order to scan the code with the Desire 601. You can also tap "Receive" on the HTC device and enter the generated code, or use whatever sharing method you prefer
