Your review and specifications is completely missing that Samsung Galaxy S4 has -
    - S-Voice natural language commands and dictation
    - Smart stay, Smart pause, Smart scroll
    - Air gestures
    - Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic

Also you didn't mention that Galaxy S4 has a dual shot possibility in its camera and also offers Simultaneous HD video and image recording. Here is the Galaxy S4 Full Specs

In my opinion, Samsung Galaxy S4 is a much much better Smartphone for bringing tons of innovative features to the market.

Sony’s latest release, the Sony Xperia Z1 is supposed to be one of the best smart phones in the market. It does have a great camera but is it a great smart phone overall? What better way of finding out than by comparing it with one of the best smart phones in the market today, the Samsung Galaxy S4? Can Sony finally replace Samsung at the top? They tried and failed with the Sony Xperia Z, maybe the Sony Xperia Z1 will do better? Let’s find out...

    Announced 14th March 2013 04th September 2013

    Size and weight

As far as size is concerned, the Galaxy S4 is a lighter and more compact smart phone. The Galaxy S4 measures 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm while the Xperia Z1 measures 144.4 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm. In terms of weight, the Galaxy S4 weighs 130 g while the Xperia Z1 weighs 170 g. Samsung has worked really hard on making their smart phones thin and compact while fitting as much as they can into them. That is exactly the case with the Galaxy S4. It’s a pretty decent attempt with the Xperia Z1 by Sony, but definitely not good enough to claim the number one spot.

This point goes to the Galaxy S4.

    (Samsung Galaxy S4 - One / Sony Xperia Z1 - Zero)

    Display

Both these smart phones come with a 5.0” touch screen. The maximum resolution on both smart phones is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels as well. Even the pixel density between both these smart phones is exactly the same at 441 ppi. The only noticeable difference between both displays is that the Xperia Z1 comes with a TFT display while the Galaxy S4 comes with a Super AMOLED display. I really think Sony needs to upgrade their display technology if they want to dominate the industry. I just don’t see a smart phone with a TFT display being number one. And an LED display will probably help improve battery life as well.

The Galaxy S4 wins this point for its superior display technology.

    (Samsung Galaxy S4 - Two / Sony Xperia Z1 - Zero)

    Memory & Storage

In terms of memory, there is nothing to separate both these smart phones. Both come with 2 GB of RAM. And even though Samsung has always had the most options when it comes to storage, the Xperia Z1 does a pretty good job as well. The Galaxy S4 comes with 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal storage while the Xperia Z1 comes in only a 16 GB version. But, that’s not the best part. The best part is that the Xperia Z1 accommodates storage expansion up to 64 GB which is exactly the same as the Galaxy S4.
And given the fact that expandable storage gives you virtually unlimited storage (just keep replacing your SD cards dummy), I don’t think it would be fair to award this point to the Galaxy S4. Therefore, it’s a draw.

    (Samsung Galaxy S4 - Two / Sony Xperia Z1 - Zero)

    Camera

When you compare the cameras on both these smart phones, you will find that the Xperia Z1 has a better camera. The Galaxy S4 comes with a 13 MP camera while the Xperia Z1 comes with a 20.7 MP camera. Both smart phones let you records videos at 1080p. But still, the Xperia Z1 is much better. You just have to use it and you will agree. You can knock this one up to the fact that Sony actually has success in the digital photography field with its Cybershot cameras and has managed to somehow transfer this technology into the Xperia Z1.

This point goes to the Xperia Z1.

    (Samsung Galaxy S4 - Two / Sony Xperia Z1 - One)

    OS & Performance

Both these smart phones come with the Android 4.2.2 (JellyBean) operating system and are most likely to receive the Android 4.3 (JellyBean) update at the same time. If both smart phones are running on the same operating system, you can’t really expect to find any differences. But when it comes to performance, it seems Samsung released the Galaxy S4 a few months too early and now they have to pay the price. The Galaxy S4 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T chip and quad core, 1900 MHz, Krait 300 processor while the Xperia Z1 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chip and quad core, 2200 MHz, Krait 400 processor. As far as graphics is concerned, the Galaxy S4 has an Adreno 320 processor while the Xperia Z1 has an Adreno 330 processor. I don’t know, maybe Samsung wanted to save the latest technology for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? But in the process, the Samsung Galaxy S4 loses its spot as the best performing smart phone in the world.

This point goes the Xperia Z1.

    (Samsung Galaxy S4 - Two / Sony Xperia Z1 - Two)

    Battery

The Galaxy S4 comes with a 2,600 mAh battery while the Xperia Z1 comes with a mammoth 3,000 mAh battery. That has to be one of the largest batteries on a smart phone. And in terms of standby time, the Galaxy S4 can last 15.4 days without charge while the Xperia Z1 can last a whopping 36.7 days. But what’s interesting here is that if you compare the talk time (3G) on both smart phones, the Galaxy S4 will give you 17 hours while the Xperia Z1 will give you just 15 hours.

Add to this the fact that most people complain about the battery on Sony smart phones and I have enough evidence to call this point a draw.

    (Samsung Galaxy S4 - Two / Sony Xperia Z1 - Two)

    Price

The 16 GB Galaxy S4 can be picked up for around $ 610 (free of contract) while you will have to pay around $ 730 for the 16 GB Xperia Z1 (free of contract). I cannot justify the extra $ 120 for the Xperia Z1. If Sony really wanted to take control of the market, they should have priced the Xperia Z1 around $ 650 - $ 680. People will be willing to spend that much for a smart phone. But $ 730 does nothing but restrict the Xperia Z1’s chances of becoming a high selling smart phone.

This point goes to the Galaxy S4.

    (Samsung Galaxy S4 - Three / Sony Xperia Z1 - Two)

    Conclusion

Sony got many things right with the Sony Xperia Z1 but they unfortunately got a few things wrong as well. The score at the end of this comparison reads 3 points to 2 in favor of the Samsung Galaxy S4. But the Samsung Galaxy S4 won two points for its size and display while the Sony Xperia Z1 won two points for its camera and performance. I wouldn’t mind a slightly bulkier smart phone that performs better and allows me to take outstanding photographs, no one would. But the price is the real let down for the Sony Xperia Z1. The Samsung Galaxy S4 picked up its third point for its price and being cost effective is the only reason why the Samsung Galaxy S4 remains the best smart phone in the world today.
