I've been using the Huawei M865 for a while now, and it has certainly been an interesting journey. While it might not be the latest flagship phone, it has a charm of its own that's hard to ignore.

    Pros:

Affordable: One of the major highlights of the Huawei M865 is its price point. For someone on a budget, it offers decent features without breaking the bank.
Compact Design: The phone's compact size is perfect for one-handed use. It slips into pockets easily and is comfortable to hold.
Call Quality: The call quality is surprisingly good. The sound is clear, and I've had no issues with dropped calls.
Battery Life: The battery life is commendable. With moderate use, it easily lasts a full day, which is quite impressive for a phone of this age.
Basic Performance: While it might not handle heavy apps and games, for basic tasks like calls, messages, social media, and light browsing, the performance is adequate.
    Cons:

Outdated Software: The Huawei M865 is running on an older version of Android, which limits access to the latest apps and features.
Limited Camera Quality: The camera is just average. It's fine for casual shots but don't expect stunning photos.
Display Quality: The display is not the sharpest or brightest, which can be a drawback for multimedia consumption.
Overall, the Huawei M865 is a solid choice for someone who needs a reliable phone for essential tasks without spending a fortune. It's not a high-end device, but it gets the job done without major hiccups. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option and can compromise on the latest features, the Huawei M865 might be worth considering.

Sadly, it's an option we would ultimately say no to. Even though the Ascend 2 goes for just one penny with a two-year contract, it doesn't offer much more than that low price point.
