Ps am a visitor and cannot get cell phone on plan. They need me to be a resident of Canada.

i just purchased an ultra simple phone, no bells and whistles, for talk and text. it is called ushining.. i am not particularly interested in the greatest phone ever. i will use if for mostly emergency calls and texts.

previous to this, I purchased a phone with the chatr plan and it was a terible experience!! i could not make the phone work, could not reach customer service, could not figure out how to get the app, which I really did not want. I returned it.

I need a Canadian forum person to tell me if I can purchase a refillable sim card for this unlocked ushining phone, and use it with the particular carrier who offers the sim card?
