    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset’
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be automatically restored when signing in with the backup account or when reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the account to use for syncing the contacts
    4. Ensure “Contacts” is checked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now’

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    6. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / ‘Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the folders of origin
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
