    1. From any of the home screens, tap the "Apps" icon
    2. Tap "Settings" and scroll to "User and Backup"
    3. Ta p "Backup and reset", and sign in with your Google account.

    3. After the software has been installed, connect the Galaxy S5 Mini to the Mac via USB
    4. On the Mini, swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device"
    5. Mark the "media device (MPT)" check box
    6. Open Samsung Kies on the Mac
    7. Click the "Back up / Restore" tab and then go to the "Backup" tab
