    Nice sharing. I often use Samsung cloud storage or MobiKin Assistant for Android to back up my personal data. Both of them are convenient and efficient, they enable me to back up and restore the data through simple clicks.

    Restoring Applications:

    1. If necessary, sign in to your Google or Samsung account (the one used for the initial backup)
    2. Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
    3. Under "User and Backup", tap "Accounts"
    4. Select either "Google" or "Samsung"
    5. Tap your email address at the top of the screen
    6. Tap "Sync all"
    7. Press the "Back" key to return to the "User and Backup" menu
    8. Tap "Backup and reset"
    9. Under "Backup and Restore", check / uncheck "Back up my data" and "Automatic restore"

    Contact Restore

    Restoring Contacts from a Samsung or Google Account:

    1. If necessary, sign in to your Google and / or Samsung account(s)
    2. Tap "Settings" while on the home screen
    3. Under "User and Backup", tap "Accounts"
    4. Tap either "Google" or "Samsung", depending on the type of account used for the backup
    5. Tap your "email address" at the upper side of the screen
    6. Mark the "Sync contacts" check box if necessary
    7. Tap "Sync now"

    Restoring Contacts from the SD Card:

    1. Make sure that the SD card containing the backed up contacts is installed
    2. Open the "Contacts" app and go to the "Contacts" tab
    3. Press "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts"
    4. Tap "Import / Export" > "import from SD card"
    5. If necessary, select an account on which the contacts should be imported

    Restoring Media Files

    Restoring from the SD Card:

    1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Launch "My Files" and tap "All files"
    3. Tap "SD card" and press the "Menu" icon
    4. Tap "Select" and mark the check boxes next to the types of files you wish to restore
    5. Tap the "Menu" icon and select "Move"
    6. Tap "Device storage" > "Move here"
    7. To move the file(s) in a different location, tap the folder name or tap "Create folder"

    Restoring Media from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. On the home screen, swipe the "Status" bar down
    3. Tap "Connected as media device" and mark the "Media device (MTP)" check box
    4. Click "Open device to view files" on your computer
    5. Navigate to where the files should be restored
    6. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the backed up files on your PC
    7. Copy the files, and paste them on your phone's storage
    8. When the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone

    Restore Files from a Mac Computer:

    1. Connect the Samsung Galaxy Alpha to your computer via USB
    2. From the home screen, swipe the "Status" bar down
    3. Tap "Connected as a media device"
    4. Mark the "Media device" check box
    5. Launch Kies on the Mac
    6. From Kies, click the "Back up / restore" tab and then the "Restore" tab
    7. Mark the check boxes next to the media files you wish to restore, such as "Music" or "Photo". (NOTE: optionally, click "Select all items" to restore all backed up files)
    8. Click "Restore" and follow any additional prompts if necessary
    9. When finished, eject your smartphone from the Mac and safely disconnect it
