If you are interested in how to work with an Oracle database, I have a useful recommendation for you. I recently came across the dbforge schema compare for oracle tool which helps me save time and make oracle schema compare much faster. Besides, you can do a lot of other useful things with it, and it makes my job easier.

It’s not the default schema, but it was one of the, if not the first SAMPLE schemas.

SCOTT has been somewhat deprecated for HR (Human Resources).

    Why is it called Scott?

The story passed around is that an employee whose last name was Scott created the schema, and the default password ‘tiger’ was the name of a beloved pet.
