Kyocera is a fairly new company. They have had issues but are coming out with new phones that are more mechanically sound. Most people are used to Nokias, Samsung, etc, and complain of different User Interface.

My suggestion is get what works good in your area. BTW Bad reception is not just linked to a phone, but can be a service provider issue.

    Yak,
What basic functionalities are you looking for?

Kyocera doesn't makes good phones. In fact they lack all the basic functionailities of other phones.

Here in the states that phone never really even went over very well. I worked for a carrier here that sold that phone and id be suprised if i sold maybe ten total over an eleven month span. It just wasnt a very good phone. so i dont think youre gonna get many positive responses from anyone here.

Thoughts on this phone pls ? I've been using mine since theWAP technology trial was started in New Zealand, and haven't had a problem - however, a number of my workmates have them, and have had nothing but problems.

So - anyone else out there using this phone and having reliability problems ?
