I had a grand time using HotDog about 2-3 years ago, and I do remember you can get the demo for free with most of the functions intact.

If you are going with WYSIWYG Dreamweaver is the way to go. Sure it's expensive but at least it makes proper HTML. Dreamweaver also has an excellent layout mode for working with tables.

Also never use Microsoft Office to make webpages. It adds enough useless data into the HTML file to make it's size 4 or more times bigger than it would be if it was designed with another HTML editor.

I haven't tried Dream Weaver, but I've seen some web-pages made in it. It's supposed to be a great program.

I know it sucks Kris but it's free with Windows...i used Notepad my self and started from scratch but it's a lot more work

Try Hotdog Pro 7. It has Flash integration wizards, Xara menumaker for DHTML Menus, SQL table builder and much more. Download it here. It's just a trial though.

I've had good luck with Macromedia Dreamweaver (find it with your favorite p2p client). Not free, but fairly powerful and easy-to-use.
