I heard about the disadvantages of the bluetooth on 3650, but is it true? i mean did any 1 actually practically confirm it or are you people beleiving it coz it's written on the net. And if it is true, does that mean you can't use 3650 bluetooth for your e.g. car, PC, other NON - nokia bluetooth phones

    Thank you

Yes, on looking it was that site, here is an extract:

"Supposedly the final release version of the 3650 English software (and only English) will support the new HDW-2 Nokia Bluetooth headset. Nokia also seems to be saying that other brands of Bluetooth headsets are NOT supported. This means that the 3650 is doing something with the HDW-2 via Bluetooth, but it does not support the Bluetooth Headset Profile. If it did, the other headsets would work. This is typical Nokia. Bluetooth on their phones does not support non-Nokia Bluetooth PCMCIA cards for syncing with the Data Suite, either. Even cards using the same Motorola chipset fail. I don't know what ever made Nokia think that Bluetooth was their own proprietary standard and that their devices don't have to play by the same standards and rules as the rest of the world's. Pathetic."

Anyway the review is VERY in-depth so it will probably give you a better overview of the phone than I can.

    Good luck!

I think it was me that mentioned this...

From what I have heard from reliable sources and I can't remember that much (I think it was at http://mobile.burn.com under reviews).

    1. The internal RAM is more restricted than the 7650 which has an extra 600Kb, so that some programs won't run due to lack of internal RAM regardless of where the programs are installed.

    2. The Bluetooth support is incomplete and it does not support all the expected profiles which allow communication with other headsets. All I know is the Nokia HDW-2 does seem to be fine with it - again check that site I mentioned.

Other than the CRAP keypad, I think it's fine!

    Are the following true:

    1. Nokia 3650 has a problem in its internal (RAM) memory - if yes, can u please explain?

    2. the Bluetooth support is not complete, it only works with the Nokia HDW-2 apparently. - if true? wht is nokia HDW-2

I'm planning to buy this phone soon and i don't want to regret it

    Thank you.
