thats what i thought, but why then, when i put 2 instruments on different channels, one still cancels the other one out sometimes?
could this be because the instrument needs more than one channel ?

yes we've established that you ahve to convert the files, but can anyone tell what all the options do in the advanced view. like what happens if you put 2 instruments on the same channel.
and does the order you put them in give precedence to whether one note gets played over another in th case that both cannot be played simultaneously?

    thanks

The most is 4 at a time - I use the Ringtone Converter part of Nokia Data Suite to edit the ringtones down to 4 chord

Hey does anyone know the restrictions on polyphonic ringtones for the 7210. it seems to be any files over 25kb wont play, even tho you can put them on the phone... not sure. also, does anyone know how many voices it can do?
    THanks..
