i understand your point of view but i think your expectations were too high regarding this phone. the v200 was one of the first phones with camera, so i'd usually expect pic quality or technology to be decent. regarding the advert of the screen, i'm pretty sure there was some fine print saying something like "simulated picture, screen, etc." personally, i think the integration of phone an camera was a great idea. for a while there, only sprint users in america were enjoying camera (with flash too) integrated with there phone. if you really wanted quality pictures, get a separate digital camera or upgrade to e700/e715. problem solved.

get the easy gprs software from aviworld.de, should be version 2.1.5 and flashing resources on the same site or howardforums.com. must have a cable to flash though. you can transfer items thru infared or cable. look for G1 firmware for v200 if you choose this procedure.

I purchased a Samsung V205, and ended up flashing it to become a Samsung V200, just so I can attempt to download my pictures...it still does not work (even with the V200)...But! When I flashed it to be a V200......wha la.....I now have ZOOM capabilities...V200 is way better than the Infamous V205..I'm still looking for the right software to communicate from my V200 to my Computer.....any help will be GREATLY....GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

The V200 is a good phone... Good polyphonic tones and good screen. I am currently using one myself... it's good... except it doesn't support java download. That's the only disadvantage of the phone. But if ya not a hardcore phone gamer or doesn't need any of those java applications... This phone is definitely good. =)

depending on where u live, you should be able to get the v205 for anywhere from $150-$250... Right now is a good time to get into a new one year service agreement cause they are offering a $100 mail in rebate from T-mobile if you sign up for $34.99 or highter plan... this applies to those who activate in NY area but I'm sure they are running similar deals elsewhere... oh, as someone mentioned, v205 can be flashed to a v200 and there isn't a rebate for it, being that it isn't a t-mobile phone. hope this helps in your decision. Lastly, if you already have service and just need the phone, drop me a pm...

The 200 has zoom and brightness adjust on the camera. But it is done in software so you can get a 205 and update the software to get those features.

The phone is definitley worth getting though.
