Still can't get IrDA working on Nokia DS.. its the lastest one cuz i downloaded it off the net.. along with the IrDA drivers.

Got the FBUS cable working... turns out it's just crap construction and the pins weren't touching the board properly...

I'd recommend gettin a DKU-5/Pop Port cable.. either original Nokia or compatible.

i've got a 7250 too. i'm trying to decide whether to get a cable or an ir port. it looks like the cable's more reliable...

is your nokia pc suite the latest one? maybe it needs updating.

Bought an FBUS cable today... and it doesn't work.. i think.

I'm trying to use Oxygen Phone Manager and MobiMB, but they don't recognise the phone via COM ports.

Also i've got an Irda thing... but I can't do a thing with it!! Oxygen will find the phone, but it doesn't allow me to browse or transfer things or anything! Nor will MobiMB.

Nokia Data Suite 5.1, when using the Irda, the connection manager just freezes up when u select the 7250 and click apply. If i leave it be, it'll like timeout or something and just stop.. its not a stable connection.

Whats the problem?! My computer? the irda? the cable? the phone?

BTW, i'm also trying to use the Siemens S55 via Irda (with Siemens Data Suite)... and it partially works.. it'll allow me to do some things, but then it'll just stop. I'm goin mental!!
