    I just use an alternate background. T-mobile have the ugliest one. However a british provider called 02 have the nicest one.

    either use another background, or use a blank background

    go to tools -> settings -> phones -> standby -> background

    How would one do that-send themself a blank operator logo?
    Posting directions with replies on how to do things would be nice from everyone. Not everyone knows how these things work.

    It's not my phone. I'm just helping someone out that just got a phone and doesn't know how to do it.

    thats quite easy my friend... just send yourself a blank operator logo to replace the cingular logo... there ya go...
