with anvil studio i think u can highlight notes on a certain track, cut them and merge them into another track, i sometimes have trouble with it but i think ive tried it before, just have a screw around with all the options in anvil u might come across it

and btw i just found out, dont use anvil to make midi's down to 4 channels; get the nokia PC SUITE from www.nokia.com, and use the midi program that comes with it, it lets u push and save the midi down to 4 channels really easily!

Thanks! I'll give it a try.
Another question... Is it possible to join 2 different instrument channels (not so different... i.e. 2 different kinds of guitars, etc.) into only 1 channel to gain some more notes in the ringtone?
And, if yes, with which one of the above softwares?

    Thanks!
    Ale

open the midi in anvil studio

view all the tracks of the midi

hear each track separately by selecting 'solo' for each

keep deleting entire channels/tracks until u get down to 4 that sound good

    export as a midi

it can be fairly time consuming but faster once u get the hang of it.....and the result can be extremely good on ur phone!

Hey Guys... I'd be very thankful if someone could tell ma what's the best way (I.E. Progz) to obtain nice 4-channels MIDI (or MMF). I've downloaded quite all the software (PSMplay 5.0, Mobile Music Pro 2.0, Quartz Audio Master Pro 4.6, Coding Workshop Ringtone Converter 4.6, Anvil Studio and also the Noika Sound Converter from Nokia PC Suite 5.0... Phew! ) but don't have much time to spend trying to catch the spider out of the hole...

Hope someone can tell me what's the best one and how to pull the get the best sound from my little cellular friend (Nokia 7210)...

    Greets!

    P.S.
B.T.W. Someone has a good 4-channel version of the E.R. Intro Theme???
