I am enjoying my service with T-Mobile. I never had any major problems with my service. I only had to contact support once because my t-zones service didn't work but they fixed it promptly.

The only thing I hate about T-Mobile is that you can't get rid of the operator logo on your phone's main screen, but I i'll ***** about that in the appropriate thread.

    Overall, T-Mobile is a-OK!!!!

My brother got lucky when he signed up for T-Mobile, they had this great deal at the time: 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited nights & weekends...all for just $39.99 a month so thats what he gets. He also pays $4.99 a month for unlimited T-Zones and like $2.99 for 300 text messages...

GPRS is another story! It's slow and not always available. I use my Palm Tungsten T3 with bluetooth to access email and the web. OK, but not great. I'd love to be able to stream audio, but both due to bluetooth and GPRS, the bitrate is so slow that nothing worth listening to is available. Although, streaming audio directly from the phone via GPRS ain't much better.

I'd recommend T-Mobile to anyone who lives in a good service area for T-Mo, but if you're looking for a faster data rate, I hear that Sprint G3 (or is it G4) is faster.

    Good luck!

I've had T-Mo for a year now with a Nokia 3650, after three years with SprintPCS. I wanted a GSM phone and T-Mobile was the only operator who agreed to "unlock" my phone if I went with them. AT&T is just plain nasty, if you ask them if they will unlock a phone acquired through them.

Here, at home, I actually have better coverage than I did previously with Sprint... and that's saying something for a place like Maine, where there are a lot of moose, but not much cellular coverage!

I am constantly discovering "improvements" to the network and extensions of service to places I couldn't previously use the phone. So, they are good about upgrading their network.

When I've gone abroad, I can roam with their partners or I can buy a SIM from a local GSM provider and use my same phone in most countries.

Really? What did they do to rip you off?

It's interesting to me because I had a terrible experience with Nextel (overcharged several months, and then they "lost" a payment although the check had cleared...). T-Mo has been good to me -- credits whenever there's a problem, billing is in order, and no incorrect charges in 18 months.
