do you know of the code used for nexel phones that changes your cell phone tower to the one that police use..i know it works but forgot the code please help. our apartment has the worst cell phone reseption ive ever seen. but will work 10 feet out side of it! thanks

If you are referring to updating your PRL (Prescribed Roaming List) for Verizon Wireless, you would dial *228 and listening for the options. You will chose option 2 and then end the call after you receive a vocal confirmation message.

Does anyone know the code to dial to have your phone seach for a better signal? You can use it when you have a weak signal and would search for a better signal. I think it begins with *2?? Thanks!
