Theres an easier way. Instead of buying a data cable which'll cost u about £10 go on www.zedge.no. Theres an upload shack for members where you can put your midis n jars then download them to your phone via wap! You can get the software at nokia.com/support and so on.
It´s easy to find.
And, yes you need a cable if you don´t have an infrared port or bluetooth.
