I am guessing it is the lack of some code in the MID file. Maybe if the creator is not Sony-Ericsoon it will not let you send due to the fact T-Mobile tries to sell you ringtones.

If you can, just use WAP!

just found out. some midi has got "no distribution" tag enabled, hence they are forward locked.

PSM play is actually a very good program for beginners to handle midi/mmf. it's not as complicated as Sonar or cakewalk.
Best of all, it'a free software

on the phone, maybe try to upgrade the firmware and see if they open the access in new revision.

to unlock midi, try this, it might work.
open midi with PSM play. re-crrate the midi and save it. hope it's usable

no, some midis have that built in so they cant be sent at all. theres pretty much no way to get around it, except to try and find the same file, but hope that its not protected

cant be. No DRM has been properly implemented in SE phones.
When u select a midi in "my sound", press the option button. "send" should be available.

If u can see "send" but not in solid black colour, the try another tone. If all cant, means somehow it's disabled in the software

I have midi tones that I've downloaded from the internet and I want to send them to my friend but SEND isn't avaiable. I checked the info and it says Distribution: Not allowed. Anyway to change this for my midi ringtones?
