I think so, yes. 3200 is the cheapest and snazziest cam phone at the moment.

Ok,.. but is 3200 the cheapest for Nokia at the moment??

The prices of the 3100 should stabilize, now.
The cheapest camera phone is by Motorola E380 or something, but it's Rs.10500/- with Bill and Warranty.

    @ndres is right. There's a 6610 and a Samsung C100.
I got the 6610 by my greedy side. But later I got myself a C100. The only problem with my C100 is that Orange don't allow downloads of Java games to Samsung Phones. Only Nokias.
If you want all that goody goody features but no games then go for C100, as it only lacks MMS. It's got a Hi-Res screen which kicks even the 6610. And it can compare feature to feature with the 6610 (except for the FM radio).
    It's got GPRS Modem also.
BUT Orange does not allow games download to Samsungs. If you ever get hold of a C100, then try downloading a game and check if the operators over there allow game download to Samsungs, as from your first post I feel that you want to get a phone for Entertainment.
If you are getting a samsung phone, then remember that you can't use the PC suite for game downloads. Only GPRS. Also go for AirTel. Their GPRS is a tad expensive per month Rs. 600/- but then you can download games for it. I'm not sure if Nokia Games will work or not.

EDIT: For Nokia S40 games, you can go to
    http://groups.msn.com/nokiagames
These guys have a HUGE collection(even more than CPF), of S30, S40, and S60 games.

Or best, indulge and get Nokia 3100 and use the orange monthly Rs.100/- GPRS.

The Choice is yours and yours alone

edit: I got this link from somewhere else on this forum,... for s40... has quite alot of games....

    http://www.xtel.com.ua/nokia_e.php

There's lots of games and ringtones on this Forum (referring to CPF) for s40 so it's quite much easier if u were to get an s40 phone,...

Hey mohen, he's on tight budget, so we're recommending the 3100

    i got the 6610 , and it's a great phone !
don't buy any of the series 30 !! they are all sucks

There's a lot of difference. Firstly series 40 has a HUGE game library as compared to series 30. And you are buying a cellie for the gamie.
Next the resolution on the series 40 is much better than the series 30 models.

    Series 30=96x65
    Series 40=128x128

This means that the images on the S40 will look clearer, and neater. Also, the S40 phones support MMS send and receive while the Series 30 phones support only receiving MMSs.
Overall the series 40 phones will not get obsolete so fast, while the Series 30 phones are already obsolete.

    Did This Help?
