see the problem is not many know how to rollback a 1a.0a CP to begin with...it's not like the old ways that we used to do it so that we could use iijal 6. so you can give a try just as long as you save a backup...or you can pay Nexvision at nextelmodz to do...cause he's the only one that advertises about it. other than that i know many have tried and mostly all have failed...so good luck to you!

What if i downgrade my software to r85.01.00, the camera software i have upgrades it to R85.01.02.

-But i heard somewhere that you have to have a specific CP.

    I have CP Ver: 1A.0A/19.00.

Im obviously not as experienced as you at all when it comes to this stuff haha. so if i downgrade, do you think it would be worth giving a shot.

if you say no, then ill take it that its not safe for my phone and ill leave it at that.

    thanks

the camera software does not have the capability to roll back your current software which is likely .04, .05 or .06 back to .02 which is what the camera was made to work on. the software was never intended to be released and was leaked and will not be supported by nextel...altho it would be very nice to have a camera working for any software version. as far as messing it up....i would assume that it would, but it would more than likely stop you before you got too far because your software is supposed to be below .02 before you start! if you have NSP, give it a whirl!

What happens if you install the camera software but you have the wrong cp?

i have the 19oa.019 or whatever it is, and i know its the wrong cp, but is it worth installing the software to see if it will work, or will it mess my cell up?

    thanks
    chris
