can anyone tell me how to unlock a samsung SGH-E600 so i can use any S-P

Samsung phones can be unlocked by purchasing a data cable and using the unlcok software Cerebros (can be found on google or www.personal.psu.edu/sjs342)

go to ebay, buy a software and cable unlock package. it only costs around $20. you can unlock unlimited phones.

I want to buy the verizon sch-A607, tight phone in my opinion, but I want to put my sim card, cingular...is this possible? or would that be totally unreasonable, if its possibly, tell me how, or how much, and how I can do it now... I would love this forum forever wit hthat one bit of knowledge

I need MAJOR help unlocking Samsung R225M locked by T-Mobile. I'm trying to use Cingular becuz T-mobile isn't available in my area. I need instructions on how to enter codes too. (ie: with or without new sim card in) THANK YOU in advance

Since your home phone is locked, call 1-800-937-8997, it's a toll free number. Now go ahead and call then it will ask you for the phone number, type in your phone number..now when that is over it will ask you for the last four numbers of your social security number. Then hit 0 after that, this will take you to an operator where you tell her what has happended.

TEMPORARY UNLOCK:
Put a non-accepted Simcard and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.

In newer phones:
#*7337#

to unlock all those E700, E800 , X426 phones. You need a datacable and software to do a full unlock. You can unlock your phone 'temporielly" by typing the code. But it will go back to locked when you turn off the phone.

ok, i got my SGH - E600 unlocked...
but in kind of an akward way...

when it said "Phone Locked Return for servicing" i indeed returned it to the store, and let is be send to samsung for "repairs" a firmware update.

Now it didnt cost me a thing, i dont know cus it was insured or not.

I got my phone back, with a new firmware version on it...
And as i was going through the options of the phone settings, under security i found: Phone Lock and SIM Lock, so i can both enable and disable my SIM Lock and if i enable it, put my own password on, so whenever i put in another card, ill have to be typing 2 passwords.

Anyways, just thought i'd let the SGH-E600 owners know...
Do know i had my phone insured and just said i was trying out testing codes for the display and battery etc...
So i CAN NOT guarantue you that you wont have to pay

Can someone help me unlock this? It's a T-Mobile device but I'm now using AT&T Wireless and my AWS phone went out. Can someone help?
