Give it to Dwayne Wade... Look what he has done...Miami has gone farther into the playoffs than the Nuggets and the Cavs (o ya..Cavs didn't go). In head to head match ups....Wade outshined the others.

Carmello had similar stats, played in the west and made the playoffs. Much more deserving than Bron.

lebron definitely deserved it. his numbers were awesome for a 19 year old. give this guy a few years to mature and he will be amazing.

carmello most def deserved it more...

while lebron is out at parties carmello is still playing basketball in the playoffs....

he won it because he was hyped way more than carmello and carmello did better in clutch times....

the cavs would come close to compteting in the west....

    the east is really soft

LeBron James, the super-hyped phenom who went from high school to the pros and kept the Cleveland Cavaliers in playoff contention until late in the season, has beaten out Carmelo Anthony in voting for the NBA's Rookie of the Year award.

A source with knowledge of the vote tally, speaking on condition of anonymity, said James will be presented with the award Tuesday.

the writers seem to change their mind every year whether to award ROTY to the guy w/ the best stats or the guy that makes their team record better
