whenever i download a midi file, it downloads and turns into a php file. i did some searching and saw that if i go to control panel, tools, folder options, then view, and finally untick show extension files or whatever: it will solve my problem. nope, it didn't work. whenver i change the name and extension, it turns into a midi file, but it won't play in anything. i really need it to play in psm player so i can turn it into a ringtone. even so, other major media players won't play it. windows media player says that the file is either corrupted or it doesn't support the file format. realone player says the file is corrupted. finally, psm player just freezes.

the file downloads as attachment.php.htm or sometimes just attachment.php

i changed the file name to attachment.mid and warriorpart2.mid

    can anyone help??
