francis went to orlando. i dont think shaq would have wanted to go back there cuz i'm sure magic fans are still bitter

i thought australia was a big basketball country? shane heal's still around w/ the spurs. i still remember him and that scuffle he had with barkely years ago. lauren jackson's the reigning wnba mvp

i think the aussies qualified for this years olympics, not sure

edit: fisher signed with the warriors

payton should do better under rudy t's system, whatever it may be

its a officially a done deal now- shaq for odam, grant, butler and a 1st rounder. no jones or wade.

you'll still have fisher, if he decides to come back
that was one incident. he is not confortable witht the triangle. BTW he was the most consistent lakers durin the reg season givin 14-16 points on a nitely basis. also fisher is 99% not coming back.

^^^ i wish wade and jones were part of the trade, that woulda been nice of course not with odom, grant, and butler together, but at least jones and wade

shaq will probably be even more dominant in the east cuz theres no big men out there besides big ben. in the west he had to deal with duncan, yao, kg, etc. and he'll need more support than eddie jones & wade

Shaq is and will remain a dominant figure in NBA. Prolly is one of tha best players in NBA history......Lakers lost him, cuz he was a pain in the a$$.....Lakers wont be as great, but lets pray that shaq gets another toe injury like 03-04 season ROFL.

i don't think the lakers will do all that well next year. if they get kobe back, they might get into the playoffs. but the heat will probably be better.

im satisfied with this deal. this would give a good player at every position. hopefully we fix our logjam at small foward and hopefully we can trade b. grant for e. dampier.
