We have two Sprint stores here in the Augusta, GA area, and I have to admit, we actually get really good customer service from one of the two stores. Of the two stores here, the one nearest to the Augusta National (home of the Masters Golf Tournament) has always offered and expressed outstanding customer service to me and mines. I think it has to do with the excellent staff they have, which makes it a matter of the manager having manners and teaching his/her staff manners. But, when it comes to Sprint in general, they couldn't care less if you were on fire and they controlled all the water flow in the southern states.
What just kills me is that Sprint has the audacity to air commercials claiming that they actually "care for the customers". PLEASE!!! I MEAN, HOW DARE THEY!!!!

Hands down the worst customer service in the business. They did give me a laugh when I saw a new Sprint Store Express. How much less can they offer in the express than in their regular stores?

I've been with Sprint PCS now for 6 years. And, in those six years, they've proven only one thing to me, . . . they are only concerned about their bottom line.

Their customer service sucks, 90% of the time. Given, they have improved greatly in the last few years, but they have a long way to go; or maybe it's just here in Georgia.

You're probably wondering why we've stuck around with them regardless of customer service, right? Well, thanks to my job, I get a government/military employee discount and none of the other service providers can match it.

And, when it comes down to it, unless you're banking in the dough, every little bit counts.

Of course, I could be worse off, . . . I could have gone with Alltel!

I am planning on calling sprint to end my contract at the end of august, so by what you said if it actually works and they believe me they will wave my early termination fee? Have you actually done it?

some of the plans that are listed are old and you are comparing apples and ornges for plans there are 3 Genral plans in each area 1 Fair and Flexable 2 Free And Clear 3 Area Wide.

    Fair and flexable

Goes up as you use more minuts- you start at 300/500-.10, (or 450/650-.10 depending on your area) 700/1700-.05, 2000/3000-.05 they get charged per min at the cap of the teir (ammouts listed above). and is a nation wide plan. and free long distance within the USA.

    Free and Clear

This plans is for people who know how meny min they use. cuas if you go over its .40 a min for ovrage. the min usualy run 300, 500, 700, 1100, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3500. Again this is a nation wide plan. and free long distance within the USA.

    The best for last.

Area Wide. the area wide pland is for people who stay close to home and dont travle very much usualy within a state or 2 and want a lot of min this plan will provide you with 1000 min for 45 buck. but if you go out of your calling area to another state you will be charged at .50 cents a min for traveling fees. there are other min choices but this one is the most comon and sometimes the only one.

A good consumer is an informed consumer.

Please choose carfuly as they all have there beniftis and disadvatages.

Vision is $15 (Free for the first two months) for Unlimited Internet on the 1st phone, and $5 each for Unlimited Internet on the 2nd, 3rd , 4th, 5th phone on shared minute plans. Sprint is also rolling out high speed on the network this year, 300-500kbps.

I guess, you could try Cingular where Unlimited Internet is $24.99 (Free for the first month) And you can have high speeds of up to 110-150kbps.

    1) Nextel's rates are significantly higher than Sprint.
    2) The government levies the same taxes on both Sprint and Nextel.
