I think ebay is a scam for this reason,

If you buy something that isnt posted as said so then give them a bad rating they in turn rate you bad. Now what did I really do other then say this guy posted something as Brand New and it was a return item from ATWS, even said it on the book and was missing items, so if I rate him bad he will in turn diss me, so do you get it, everyone has great ratings becuase few will say what they think to not get a bad rating, I agree in teh last few dealings on ebay it was poor. Sell things on ebay but think twice before buying, Cant wait till 20/20 or someone exsposes EBAY. They are making huge money !!!

I look for other items by seller, see if there is a link to a site, and go directly to seller.
If you are in a major metropolitan area there is a good chance someone on ebay is selling something you are interested in very close to you. It is always best to inspect things before buying.
I found a repair agency for Nokia phones selling on ebay and drove directly to their shop and picked out the phone I wanted.
You can not rely on photos on ebay.

yea their is always a fraud but once you report it to ebay it sucks for the seller cause he pays out of the ass in return.

I find it really hard to trust someone on eBay because I have been duped myself and I've heard of other (worse) cases of fraud....and there's hardly anything they could do about it. so no if i were you i wouldnt take the risk but hey that's just my two cents.

for a person selling more then one item on ebay i wouldnt trust them, their are alot of ignorent users who think its pretty funny cheating off people but eventually it will catch on to them. but the way i am i only serach for single items and make sure their are pictures displayed before buying anything and atleast a good description of the products.

i have lost faith in ebay. It used to be safe with a lot of great deals, but now it is just full of cheaters and liers trying to make a buck. My last few buys have made me less than happy.

    hi everyone
i was in ebay today because i wanted to see how much would the samsung e715 would cost and then i see alot of these auctions where the sellers would have about 15 phones for sale but it says that i would have to be pre approved to purchase it. then i would try to ask them a question through ebay but then they say that it does not work and that to contact them through there orignal email address. this is the link to one of them
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...709982879&rd=1

    should i trust them help?
