My personal opinion, I think the Sony Ericsson Z200 is the best phone for ringtones, it sounds very realistic.

The Motorola V400 the the nicest speaker out there, plays mono, poly, voice, and mp3 rings very clear. Loud, crisp, you just can't beat it.

the new LG 7000 has the best ringtone quality in my opinion, plays more than just midi files as ringtones and also can get recorded stuff as your ringtone meaning FREE RINGTONES!!

wa cellphone plays ringtones gud?
i have the motorola T720, it dont realli play them loud, but it is clear,. i styll like old skool fones like the nokia 3390, mono ringtones were the loudest
