I just bought the LG L1200, and am disapointed that I can't download pics from my phone without sending an email.

I've read several posts that refer to bitpim, I've gone to that site, but there isn't any bitpin software designed specifically for the LG L1200. I might be wrong, so any out there more knowledgable can prove me otherwise?

Also, If I'm not wrong, I've read that the maker of Bitpin will borrow a phone to create the software for it...anyone out there do that? Any risks?

you may want to call your cellular co about how many rings before it go's to voice mail they might be able to set the ring's.

I bought mine at my cell store for 14 dollars -- and that was the cheapest I had seen them until that ebay. I see some listed for like 28 bucks. I would think that 10 bucks plus shipping is a good price, as long as shipping isn't outrageous. Also don't worry about the software, because it comes with the drivers you need, and you can download BitPim (there are plenty of links to it on this site, or you can google it). I do not know if BitPim actually works with your phone, however... but the website DOES say it supports "Most CDMA phones with Qualcomm based chipsets" ...

If your phone doesn't work with BitPim I dont know what to tell you besides google for another program, or ask around on this forum.

I recently got an LG L1200 with Cingular and i've been pretty satisfied with it. I have a few questions though that I hope someone might be able to answer....

First, how can I get stuff into my phone like wallpapers, games, ringtones? I read the thread about thomasscott.net, and that has worked, but i would rather use a data cable instead of the WAP. I looked on ebay and found this....CLICK HERE and i'm thinkin about buying that. Is that a good idea/buy? Also, it says the software isn't included, so where could i get it?

Second, the only other problem i have with the phone is that it doesn't ring the amount of time i want it to before it goes to my voicemail. Is there a way I can lengthen the time that the phone rings for before the voicemail picks it up?

    Thanks
