    Do you have the reception sticker that you add on to the battery? If you do, then switching the antenna won't really make a difference.

    If you get the stub, supposedly you'll see a lower amount of reception bars, but one of my friends got the baby phat stub and she's got perfect reception and no sticker.

    They sell antenna's that extend just like the original on e-bay as well.

    I need a replacement antenna for my 8900. Ive seen replacemets that are just like the one that came with the phone and the stubby ones. Has anyone used the stubby one? How does it compare to the orginal?
