Sprint is awful and I live within 2 city blocks of a Sprint store with Wi-Fi. You must stand in front of their store to get a signal. At my home, you must be in range of a window to get reception and even then you only get 2 bars. In rooms not by the window, you get NO signal. I have missed many calls. My other iPhone, served by AT&T, gets a strong signal and Verizon signals are received as well. Sprint is awful !

Sprint did me in for 2 years. I paid for service, one time, and never had service at home. I kept being told the towers were being upgraded. That did not happen and now I'm with T-Mobile. I have no service problems what so ever.

I don't like to deal with sprint but service quality depend on your location.

I go back and forth on Sprint. It really depends on who you speak with...I've had good and bad experiences.

Well...I like sprint and have never actually had any problems. I've had service with them for about 4 years now and I'm happy with them. They may not have all the "NEWEST" high tech stuff out there....but they got some. And I have a friend who works for the California Public Utilities Commission and I've been told sprint has the lowest problematic calls over all the other services. So I guess you can say they are pretty good. But its different for everyone so I would say, try them out. Get more info like your doing here....and then try it out.

Honestly, I was with Verizon for almost 2 years and switched to Sprint because everyone I talked on the phone with were either with Sprint or Nextel. I was very happy with Verizon and the phone I had through them, but until the phone I got from an insurance claim was not happy with the service of sprint. I now have a Katana DLX and have next to no reception problems, dropped calls, or volume problems. I had cheaper phones before & nothng but problems. Bottom line if you're going to go with sprint make sure you have a more expensive phone, as with a cheaper phone you will have problems. If you decide to go with Verizon it doesn't matter as much what you go with. I had a free phone through them & had no problems.

From my experience with sprint/nextel. I had nextel for 1 year and it sucked all the way through. I got no serivce in most places. Then they offered to switch me to sprint so I said ok. That is just as bad you get service only when your in big cities. But once you get out of that area its not worth it. I highly think that you shouldn't get sprint. You should either go with At&t which is what I have or Verizon Wireless.

I live in a big city and even here there is bad reception at times but my biggest concern with Sprint was getting cut off in mid sentence sometimes several times in the same conversation. They might be better now (that was 2 years ago) and if you do get Sprint get a good phone not that cheapie ET lookin' phone ("...phone home") get a flip phone. Their customer service was pretty good here if I ever had a problem and it took awhile to look at it they always just gave me a new phone! I never bought a battery in five years with them. Not that it was any big deal to them ...what's a cell cost to produce less than a dollar? Coupla' bucks at most to make...? I have At&T now ...customer service is lacking but no cut offs.

I have had sprint pcs for about 3 years now and I live in a small town and my service is good and the rates are not bad either. Although customer service may be slow, they are always very courteous and friendly, oh and eager to please.

Recently ahd some charges on my phone that I did not make...Called them up and the rep quickly removed them no questions asked.

Huh? I live in Sac and mine works great? I have heard it depends what type of phone you have. I've heard Sanyo is good, but Samsung isn't as good for indoor use. That kind of wreaks havoc when you are deep in a building at school!

Sprint is decent. I get my monthly bills and phones discounted so that's cool.
