    nextel has been turning on two-way message express for customers. this is a web based program and free unless you use it. plus with the recent change with motorola discontinuing the idenupdate program the internet on your phone is now the best way. nextel is just turning on the service, it will cost nothing unless you start using it.

    maybe you had your phone in your pocket and it did it or you let some one use your phone maybe just to look at it and the activated it for you you could also call nextel and ask them but i don't think they would charge you if you didn't use it!?

    i have the i710.
    the internet has always been shut off on my phone except when i first activated it.... so i couldn't go to down load apps or anything... but all the sudden today, in the top right corner of my screan the world showed up and the internet is on and i can use the download apps and things....
    i didnt order the service, im just wondering why its on... will i be charged?
