I use mine as an analog modem and connect to my dialup provider (Earthlink). I'm running a Toshiba laptop with XP Pro & SP2 and a D-Link DBT-120 bluetooth 'dongle'. Plug in the dongle, setup the phone for 'discover' mode so the computer can bond with it. Then go to control panel/phone & modem options/modems. You should be able to add 'standard modem over bluetooth link #x. Go to Network connections, right click on your dialup connection and you should be able to select the new modem there to connect on....Good luck.

got it working by using info on cingular username and password and dial up #

    here it is:

    The username and password info:
    User name: [email protected]
    Password: ZXY203DC9K0402
the dialing number for you Ipaq should be *99***3# and don't worry about that modem string thing with the correct username and password that should help.
