it might be the phone itself. i have an 860 and have no problems downloading ringtones to it. now that i have a i205 until my new phone comes in due to me losing my 860, i can not get anything on the i205. i guess that why it is so cheap.

Check iden for motorola drivers or just go to the motorola site and do a search.

The myjal has an option to unlock the program for use (don't know why) and also an option to connect to your phone

I don't know if you know how to fix this or not (if not let me know) but on some phones you have to change the settings for a ringtone, most common are 32 kbps, 8000hz, and mono, I use db power amp to make my tones and you can change the settings with it. Also double check what version of iden you downloaded (make sure it says that it will support your phone) along with the update packet.

i tryied both myjal and webjal... and yes the error msg only pops up after it trys to DL to the phone... it will connect to the phone, it will attempt to DL to the ringtone... it says something like a error occured when atepmting to connect. check your connection to the phone or pc and make sure buab is 19200.... i've done all that and it still doesn't work....
