    no you can convert a mp3 to a wav but it has to be 8 bit...8000hz...1 Mono

    Does that mean I can convert an mp3 to wave and use it for a ringtone? Or do they have to be a certain way? Like from a nextel site.

    actually only the i860 accepts mp3 files as ringtones. the i830, i730 and i710 accept only midi and wav files as ringtones.

    Does the i 710 support mp3 ringtones? I know the i830 does but I'm not sure about the i710 or the i730 anyone know what type of files these phones ringtones support?
