    It is all Java, and the Java it's self can be processed on any of the phones. But everyone else is right, most games are optimized for particular processors. Some of which use OEM Java API's as well, which will cause non cross-compatability. You can make games/apps in J2ME that will adapt to any phone/handheld though.

    Yepp that right Java games have to be optimised for different firmware, processing power screen size and memory.

    Im not a genious, but i guess comparing it to computers is kind of the same thing.

    I mean, why dont programs work on all computer, because they are all applications?Because not all computers have the same power (RAM, Processor etc.)

    so, better phones have better games, and worse phones cant play them.

    i apologize beforehand if this is a dumb question.. but i need to know~ why java games have different platforms as well? ie. on different series of phones wont work, different brands wont work.. aren't they all java games in general?
