i dunno if the trade helps either teams. vince is very similar to richard jefferson. they have no interior players.

Vince is officially gone from Toronto. New Jersey had to give up Alonzo Mourning, Aaron Williams, Eric Williams and two future first round draft picks. Seems like a fair trade. Yeah, Vince isn't as explosive as he used to be. Actually, Toronto (in the long run) could be on the overly winning end of this deal.

yeh these days he isnt as good, apparenly his developed more of a jumpshot game, but 2000 olympics and his 2000 dunk contest win were the highlights.

Are you talking about the proposed trade between the Toronto Raptors and the Portland Trailblazers? I read somewhere that it would include a lot of players, including Vince Carter, Jalen Rose and Shareef-Abdul Raheem. If the rumors are true and it's pulled off, I would think Toronto would be on the losing end of the trade. Vince is still a good player that's been hampered by injuries the past few seasons. Any team that gets him will be fortunate. Personally, I don't care - I'm still buzzing about the Pistons-Pacers brawl.
