    This are the only ways to send a midi ringtone:

    1) via MMS
    2) via Bluetooth
    3) via IrDA

    (maybe you could have a 4th choice... if you can set up an e-mail account on the phone, you could receive the file that way).
    But if your phone locks the copyrighted material, I'm afraid you can't do anything about it!

    well im getting a new phone this week from cingular. i dont know which one yet, probably the lg they have right now, but i really dont want to pay for my ringtones. my friend has a 3595 and when he went to send me a multimedia message with a ringtone it said it couldnt because it was copyrighted. is there a way to download them and be able to send them, or was it because of the site he got them from (zingy).
