    that is what we can all hope for cheaper prices and better service, i would settle for the better service at the same price.

    Good question.

    I just joined the message board and saw one post about it. Been away for the holidays and news of Sprint/Nextel aren't big news in England aparently. But i saw a post and wasn't sure whether to believe it.

    AT&T and Cingular are merging too...hopefully prices will get more competitive for better phones.

    agreed and depending on when it is released it may be dual band being able to utilize both the sprint and nextel networks

    thanks...let's hope so.

    I'm not getting the 860 for that reason....if they have a compatible phone in the near future I'm all for waitiing.

    All I know is that the new camera phones being released will be higher resolution that that in the current .... even though all reports are saying they are using the same camera technology.

    the i930 is rumered to be running the mobile windows and should have several pda functions. it is supposed to be released around march 2005.

    Anyone have news on Microsoft enabled Nextels. With solid info. preferrably. It would be nice for a compatible nextel phone. Especially with their web capabilities. Drop the text...where's the internet?

    Starting with word...contact compatibility would be nice though.
