You can use MidiSwing for Mac as midi recorder and editor.

You can also try MIDI to MP3 Converter for Mac as a good midi to mp3 converter. It is very convenient and easy to use. It can convert midi to mp3 and wav. You'll find it in google.

any other OSX users out there? seems like all the nice lil apps that are used for cell phone/ringtone stuff is aimed at PC users. i know BitPim works fine with my Mac, but i thought it would be good to talk about other stuff for us here. im looking for a good (free) midi editor, mp3 splitter, and hex editor for my mac that work with OSX. all mac users come forward! lets chat
