    I work a lot with mobile phones and it sounds a little too good to be true.

    I imagine if it was Nokia would be the one to start it and someone else come up with a cheaper idea.

    I would think to run a colour screen you would need new hardware and at least a firmware reflash. Plus the 8210 is hardly a premium phone, if you're going to do it for anything surely the better and less obsolete 8310 is the better bet?!?

    It can be done, i've seen it done with some Sprint phones before, just a matter of trusting that website or not.

    but colour screen, isn't this a bit too much for it to be a self mod?
    i use to have an 8210, seen the screen, and self mod... too intricate!?!?!

    I read on a foreign (Russian) website taht someone/company is offering self-mods for 8210 to do the following:

    1) Colour screen
    2) Louder rings
    3) Better battery life



    Anyone know of this? Is it a hoax?
